Two settings decide whether pool swims come out right, and both are yours.
- Your pool length. Set it under Settings → Your pool. A watch counts lengths, not metres; if the length it assumes is wrong, every distance and pace from that swim is wrong by the same factor.
- The pool length on the watch itself. Your watch has its own setting, and it is the one that stamps the file. If the two disagree, the watch wins.
One honest limitation: for pool swims we get a moving time from the watch that is not always reliable — rest at the wall is not consistently excluded. Where that matters, the session's own numbers are the better read, and a swim's training load can come out a little high.
If a specific swim looks wrong rather than all of them, tell your coach — a single session can be corrected without changing anything else.
