Your plan is written a few days ahead, not months. That is deliberate — a plan written in March for June is a guess about a version of you that does not exist yet.
Three things decide what lands in a week:
- Where you are going. Your next race, and how far away it is.
- When you can train. The availability you set, and anything you have told your coach about this particular week.
- What actually happened. Last week's sessions, how they went, and how recovered you look.
Once a week your coach reviews the week behind and adjusts the week ahead. It does not rebuild your plan from scratch each time; it moves what needs moving.
Plan shows one week at a time. Longer horizons — your season and your goal — live inside the same page.
