The TriHonu app for iPhone is the same coach, the same plan and the same account as this site — not a separate one. Today, your coach and your week are native screens; everything else opens the web inside the app, already signed in.
Getting the app
The link is under Settings → Connections → Apple Watch & Health, and the setup wizard offers it in its connections step. During the beta it is a TestFlight link; the App Store version follows. The App Store's first version (1.0) is the Apple Health bridge only — the full app described here is version 1.2.
Signing in
- With your e-mail. Enter the address you use for TriHonu; we send a six-digit code (it is in the subject line). No password — the phone keeps only a key for this app.
- With a pairing code from here. Under Settings → Connections → Apple Watch & Health, tap *Generate a code*. On an iPhone the page also shows *Open in the app*, which hands the code over without typing. A code lives ten minutes.
- New to TriHonu? *Create an account* on the app's first screen. While TriHonu is invite-only, an address that is not invited is told so.
What the app shows
- Today — your readiness from last night, the coach's call, today's session, the morning briefing and the check-in. Check in and the briefing follows within a minute.
- Coach — a conversation with your coach; replies arrive as they are written. Send a photo of a plate or a meal and the coach reads it. Long-press a message to copy or delete it. The header shows how many coaching actions you have used this month.
- Plan — the week with steps and targets. Mark a session done, move it to another day, or ask the coach to write tonight's strength session now.
- More — Apple Health, notifications, and every other page of TriHonu.
Notifications and the Lock Screen
Under More → Notifications, switch the phone on. You then get your briefing, your coach's replies, and a reminder 30 minutes before a planned session — and from that reminder until the session ends, the session sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. *From your coach* underneath is the same switch as Notifications here: off in one place is off everywhere.
The Home Screen widget
Long-press your Home Screen → *Add Widget* → TriHonu. The small one shows your readiness and the coach's call; the medium one adds today's session. The Lock Screen has a ring and a line of its own.
Offline
The app opens on the last Today and the last week it saw, and refreshes behind them. Without a connection it says *Offline · as of* and the time.
Links open the app. A trihonu.com link in a briefing e-mail or a message opens in the app when it is installed. Sign-in links and the membership pages stay in the browser.
Apple Watch and Apple Health are covered in Apple Watch & Apple Health.
Stopping a phone. In the app, *Forget this pairing* under More → This phone forgets it there. To stop a phone you no longer have, revoke it here under Paired phones — it stops at once.
