Two things live on Training time, and they do not carry the same weight.
- Your weekly hours, and any per-day hours, are a target. Your coach builds toward them — a build week ramps up to your hours, a recovery week sits under them. Nothing stops it going over on a week that warrants it, or under when you need the rest.
- A day switched to Off is the one hard rule. Your coach will not quietly put a session there. If it thinks something belongs on that day it has to ask, and you decide.
So filling this in does not tie your coach's hands. It replaces a guess with a number.
What happens if you leave it blank. Your coach works it out from your history and how many days a week you told us you train. That is a reasonable guess, and it is still a guess — it cannot know that Thursdays are long now, or that you have four hours this month rather than eight.
The one thing to be careful with. Off is sticky. Switch Saturday off during a busy spell and it stays off until you change it back. If you only want to say "this week is tight", tell your coach in a message instead — that is about one week; this page is about most weeks.
⭐ If you want the benefit without any hard rules at all: set your weekly hours and leave every day empty. An empty day is not the same as an Off day — it places no restriction whatsoever.
Everything on that page is in hours, including the per-day boxes: half an hour is 0.5, and an hour and a half is 1.5.
